My (little) selection of PAL black label PS1 games

Hello all

Nothing crazy here, just a bunch of titles that I've always been fond of !

I never had the chance to play to some of them back to the time so it's a great ... "revenge" !

More are on the way and it will be exclusively shooters : G-Darius, Strikers 1945 II, R-Types.

I have 2-3 goodies with some titles, I'm letting you see ^^

I also have a Dual Analog SCPH-1180 (mint condition, box a little used) and a Asciiware pad (same).
And a special Sony PSX demos compilation "Power Source" (there is a thread on it, I already posted pics) which I think is the scarcest piece of this "collection"..

Otherwise, I'm doing my best to fill the "holes" in this gathering (Resident Evil 1, Doom, Wip3out..) and trying to catch some new gems that are... near impossible to get :lol:

    Oui peut être, mais pas en full set PS1, il n'y a que toi qui soit engagé dans cette quête monstrueuse il me semble "lol" =)

    (Maybe you're right but for a PS1 full set, you seem to be the only one committed in this monster quest!)

    Je connais pas encore tous les membres et leur collec'. Il y a peut-être des fullsetteurs dans le tas.

    I don't know all members and their collections. May be are there fullsetters on the forum.

    Xed, are you doing the fullset of PS1 games ? It seems you have a large part of it.

    Je suis un "fullsetter" de la PlayStation en version "PAL" avec à l'heure où je poste, 615 jeux différents soit 43,50% complet (eh oui la route est encore longue...).

    Mes respects encore une fois, comme avec Marco. Faudra penser à présenter tout ça !

    Et surtout bon courage parce que, perso, je me demande si c'est vraiment encore possible de tout rassembler...

    Genre ne serait-ce qu'un titre "fantôme" comme Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero en PAL, y en a qu'UN SEUL à vendre sur tout ebay à l'heure où je parle, introuvable partout ailleurs.. :shock:

    De là à dire qu'il y en aura pas pour tout le monde.. :?

    il est vrai ce jeu est devenu rare, mais en cherchant un peu j'ai trouvé 3 offres différentes, après c'est sure, il faut beaucoup guetter chaque jour jusqu'à ce que le jeu que l'on souhaite apparaisse, j'en ai fait l'expérience !

    I've never owned it back in the day but I got lucky to get that one two months ago I must admit..

    Special moves system is a real nightmare but nonetheless, quite fun by times

    I just love how the PAL ps cases look ! After the long box run in the USA they were just jewel cases : ( we were robbed....

    I always thought the NTSC cases look better. Especially the inner artwork, which the PAL ones are lacking. Only problems I have is the missing frontcovers and that the collection never looks as intimidating ^^.

    Yeah,diverse as you said...

    Pretty unusual but since it's for gaming purpose, I don't need to collect only expensive and collectable games, just the best ones in their respective genres.

    For exemple : Tombi 1, Tombi 2, Suikoden..

    They're highly collectable I know it but for my tastes, they're simply too expensive and not good enough for what they offer in terms of gameplay and ..personal feelings !

    But a flagship title like Symphony of The Night (which I never ever played) MUST be part of this selection..

    It's like building the most flattering games showcase possible for PlayStation.

    And for that matter, I will actually reach the 100+ games which is pretty far away from my initial forecast :? :lol:

    I'm particulary happy of getting these PAL big boxes, I love them !

    And I think my next retrieving effort will be focused on some RPG's since I discovered unexpected little gems on YouTube ... (like Alundra 1).
