Starting a collection

I've just starte a collection although I have about 80+ playstation games. Any tips on what to collect and where to buy it.

    eBay, flea markets, charity shops etc are your friends

    Charity shops sometimes have some gems in (I found Jade Cocoon in one for about £2), but mostly football titles it seems. Depends whether you're going for the whole lot or certain titles.

    Car boot sales are good too, also cash converter/generator usually has PS1/2 titles. And gamestation and GAME of course in their retro sections.

    I have a cash converters, game and gamestation near me but game and gamestation don't have any retro stuff. I did get MGS2 for 99p from cash converters but never think to look in there. What games do I collect? Rare ones, cheap ones, classics or a selection??

    It's up to you what games you want to collect. Cash converters always have a nice stock of ps2 games, the bigger the store, the bigger the stock and the going rate seems to be £2 for a ps2 game in cash converters.

    I tend to check Cash Converters, charity shops, car boot sales and Gumtree can sometimes turn up some good stuff on the cheap

    gamestation sometimes gets retro stuff - also keep in mind that gamestation is owned by game - another place to check is cex (webuy.co.uk) - they dont sell retro stuff online but you can sometimes find thm in store... for a price - but their other games are pricfed really good

    I was in cash converters today and they had all the PS2 games at 99p on a 3 for 2 deal. Now, that can't be bad :lol:

    Also check the website for graingergames.com. As i told you in another thread they only have branches in the North but they have an offer instore at the moment on PS2 - 3 for 2 starting at £1 each. If they have those online then it would be worth a look.

    Just checked their prices are ok but my village shop that has a second hand section has PS1 games for 70p each.

    Gamestation sometimes have ps1 games for 49p.
