Dark Souls LE & Rayman Origins CE unboxings - comparison
I thought this would be an interesting comparison because both releases are quite similar in content. . . .but not in price.
Y'see Rayman Origins has an RRP of £70 while Dark Souls was the same price as a regular game ie £40.
Compare them and tell me which one is the bargain
Rayman Origins box . . .same size as Dark Souls[/color:2pxyvzyj]
Pulls out to reveal a diorama [/color:2pxyvzyj]
Here's the artbook (which ain't very good) and the soundtrack CD[/color:2pxyvzyj]
Finally the game - although this is not the version that came with this. Rather it's the GAME exclusive Special edition with litho . . .which i bought earlier.[/color:2pxyvzyj]
Here's the Dark Souls outer box, game and artbook[/color:2pxyvzyj]
The artbook cunningly houses the soundtrack[/color:2pxyvzyj]
Plus something the Rayman doesn't have . . .a "Making Of DVD"[/color:2pxyvzyj]
Come on then which one would you rather have :?:
Amazingly i picked up both of these sealed for £25 less than the RRP of Rayman. Just got a good nose for a bargain, I suspect . . .but Rayman still cost me more
Comments
Dark Souls of course.
Rayman Origins of course.
Rayman Origins as Dark Souls doesnt include a tissue to cry into or punching bag
ultimadream, sheldococo . . .you guys are ker-ay-zeeee
d-gal . . .you are sane
I'd go for Dark Souls(if I can't have both) - but then again, I've already got it. ;D
Damn, every collector's edition you guys received so far craps all over our. Even though the collector's edition of Dark Souls in the state was the same price of the standard edtion, you guys actually get a physical copy of the cd while we get a digital dl one. I love my physical stuff and not too much of a fan of digital.
You get more game releases than us though

I know, mate. This digital stuff is a real turn-off for collectors. I was cheesed off when i found the extra stuff in Dante's Inferno Death Edn was just downloadable.
I think it's swings and roundabouts with the US vs UK releases. You've had your fair share of nice stuff that we got a cheap knock-off from :!:
