mod's name in different color font than normal member

I need a mod tonight to ask a question to.    I think it would be cool if mods had a different color font on their names to differentiate themselves from the regular member.  It would make them easier to hunt down (heh heh).

  • They have a badge and you can also look at the directory and choose Moderator and it will give you a list of all Mods.

ETA: Sorry, click on Mod Squad
  • hmm

I did read the FAQ and forum rules but yet I keep missing these little insights. Thanks, Matt.

    edit:

lol nm...reread the faq and seen this:

    1. Need help? Contact our moderators or administrators.
I missed it the first time through when I was focused on all of the links provided.

I still think a different color font would be cool though.
  • Feel free to send me a PM, I will help out if I can.

Thanks bunches.  I missed the mod squad part on the FAQ list so please feel free to close this thread if so desired.

I guess with the link to the mods we dont need the different color fonts (although it would still be cool  )
  • I was going to jump in and say that the Mod Squad Police Badge under our name linked you to the mod squad list...but it doesn't...always thought it was a hot link to all the mods...

O'well...the badge gives away who is a mod...and you will just have to navigate to the link to ALL the mods on your own...

PLEASE DON'T USE THE PAGE MODERATOR buttons...
  • I agree. All of their names and forum posts should be pink.
  • semi-related... I like the reddit model honestly; if you're the moderator of a subreddit, you look 'normal' for the most part, in casual posting. however, you can choose to 'distinguish' yourself which turns your username another color for a particular post/reply. I don't think it would be such a bad idea when a mod/admin wishes to speak authoritatively.

Change color like a mood ring or Bonk's head when he is mad....very interesting.
