  Very true! But it seems to be licensed, and not the same as most other 3rd party memory cards. So it's got some more value to it because of that.

  it doesn't say it's licenced, just that it's for use on the PS1

  I was thinking in regards to Eidos, not Sony - I doubt they would've put their logo on the box, or even made a Tomb Raider product without having a license from them.

  I was considering this once. The problem is that I wanted them sealed, both for collection purposes and to confirm they were legit. It's too expensive and difficult to get the older colors sealed. However, I do have a complete set of the "re-release" colors after they produced the PSone.
  
  
  
  Sony's website used to have photos of them all. They may still have photos of the re-releases. There is a complete list of model numbers and colors. This should help you immensely and appears to be complete:
