Value Check on DK Jr Math Boxed

Hey Guys, I am pretty new to the NES scene and haven't seen one sell on ebay. What is fair price for this boxed?

I know it is TOUGH to find boxed.  It is really nice shape with hangtag unpunched on back, small crease in upper right corner and small crease on front top center of box, with a very small tear on one of the bottom flaps.  The rest is really nice color, corners nice just some minor white nubs on the 2 lower, upper ones are sharp, etc.

Just curious. I might Ebay, but would rather trade/sell it to someone on here, but want to get some of your guy's feel on value for my trade.
I have a value in mind and want to know if I am close.

  • If it's boxed without the manual, that will reduce it some, but not a huge amount. These tend to go for at least $50+, usually more depending on who else is looking. An unpunched box could fetch a fair amount because that makes it even rarer (they tend to show up punched and/or torn/missing hangtab). I'm sure someone here would love to get it from you if you're wanting to trade/sell it.

  • I have it on the buy/sell up for trade/sell.

It is in pretty nice shape, I don't have a way to host pictures, but if anyone wants pics of it, pm me with your email address and I can send you the pics
  • I'd be interested in the boxed DK Jr. Math game. Can you send pictures to me? My email is servicegames812@gmail.com.
  • I got your pictures, and offer sent via PM.

  • DAMN! I want that SOOOOOOOOOO bad!
  • i paid $60.00 for a pristine Mint box and manual from a dude at Gametz. But i believe it could be worth more than that. its pretty HTF
  • I would prob pay 60-75 for one in very good shape, maybe a bit more for a mint one. I still need it too.

  • it is very nice shape, not MINT but very nice.

The box is currently being traded for Challenge of the Dragon for my cart set.
Thanks for the pm's and all guys.
If something happens where the guy getting it isn't happy with it, I will repost it as available for trade, as I would rather work on getting some carts for my set then sell it.
  • Wow, I'd sell it to NGD for $75 then buy Challenge of the Dragon cart for $50.
  • DK jr math is one if you watch you can grab for under 30.00

    seriously!
  • DK Jr Math just doesn't show up anymore. The last copy I have seen sale was the one Michiganfan sold on ebay a few months back. I have yet to see another one listed since then. These black box games are getting tough to find cause collectors are keeping what they get there hands on.

  • Well there's one listed right now in bad condition though....
  • Thats the kicker, when they rarely do show up, they look like garbage. No point in buying a crappy one to have to upgrade later. blah ^ 2 image

  • CotD non-contest label cart for $50? LOL, guys, show me where. The last few have gone over $100 each, and the one I had in my store until yesterday received a $100 offer on it, which I declined in order to trade it. For the record, I am the one who traded the CotD cart for that box, simply because it was a variation box I didn't have and wanted to scan it for the site (no code on the back of the box, whereas mine has the code). And, to make things even better, it was the non-contest label CotD cart. Tell me that's not a fair trade and I'll call you a liar image

  • Dain, what is a competition label?
  • The following link shows them both. The left image is the non-contest label (the rarer of the two for CotD), the right one is the contest label:

  • ah you crazy Variation guys image
  • There is no way you can find a CotD cart for 50 bucks anymore, that just isn't going to happen. The last 4-5 I have seen have broken over 100. All the unlicensed stuff has really gone up in value in the last 6-8 months.

  • Had no idea Challenge of the dragon had gone up that much. CRAZY stuff! VERY glad I picked up a sealed one when I did image
  • Just to prove a point....

So much for $100, I sold it in less 4 hours of it being re-listed for $120. Any doubters now?

  • Dang holy crap! i had no idea it has gone up that much. i have a black one, is it worth as much?
  • Sweet! I can't remember how much I paid for mine. But it was definitely less than $50!
