  • Is that a good price for the cart and controller? I got it CIB for about $40 a couple of months ago.
  • Its a average price for the cart and manual.I would say you got a pretty good deal for $40.
  • $40 for CIB? that's a steal!
  • this is a very good price i think.
  • I have a cib in rough shape, missing plastic tray, and non-working controller (wow that sounds horrible) for $30 shipped.
  • I picked it up for one of our silly Canadian brothern up north image

  • Yeah sure NGD, we know what you use Vaus controllers for. You're sick.
  • good pickup. i always liked arkanoid and never had a controller until recently (other than in my factory sealed copy). that controller is weird.
  • I find it tremendously difficult to play without the Vaus, the d-pad movement is very sluggush. But Arkanoid is tremendously difficult to play anyways image

BTW does everyone know that it's got user-servicable calibration? That rubber dot near to the wheel isn't just a grip. Pluck it out with tweezers or your fingernails if you haven't bitten them all off. If your controller is "broken" as in the ship won't go all the way to the edge, you can center it by manipulating the dial inside with a little flathead screwdriver.

The tough part is not dying while you're trying to calibrate it image
  • The usual problem with Vaus Controllers is the three small metal prongs that make contact with the inner piece of the knob. They either break off (rare), or simply get bent back to far to make contact anymore. Very easy to open and bend them back in position to make it like new.
  • Thanks Pedro! Ill have to try that. I opened mine up, but i didn't know what i was doing.
