Rare or Unique PS1 Accessories

What rare or unique ps1 accessories do you own?  I know a few members own a Net Yaroze.  The only unique item I own is the original dual analog controller with concave sticks.  Here's some more info on it:

  • I have a couple of those, I think. I'll have to dig up the accessories. No Net Yaroze for me.
  • I had a controller with concave sticks, but i sold it since it was missing the box

I have a blue debugger and thats about it i think
  • Does Jeff (Hybrid) still frequent these forums? He's got some cool stuff iirc.
  • I have a controller from the lodgenet/oncommand systems. It's a non-dualshock with a long flat cable and the end is an RJ45, rather than a typical controller.
  • ^^ Pics when you have a moment. I've never seen one.
  • I will try. It is in storage at the moment, but I don't think it's buried too deep. I'm heading up home (to my parent's place) for the weekend, and they have all my stuff there. I will be digging through it for some other stuff, and I will be sure to snap a pic with my phone if I see it.
  • Hey, I seen only once, a detachable hori ps1 controller. So, you can extend your arms while still playing with the controller. So, the controller would break in half. I have never seen it again. I beat myself over it because I gave it to some punk kid that used to make me laugh. I wonder if it's rare.
  • I have a wired ps1 motion control system, its like a glove & a stick.

It works really well on some game as each button & the motion are

    all programable.

  • I used to own the Dual Analog controller, but stupidly left it around a mate's house. I still have the box though, which is the important part!
  • lol yeah the box is a lot harder to find than the controller
  • Im actually hoping to find the one handed PS1 controller. I have one for my SNES and like it for my rpgs. That detachable one sounds cool too, do you remember what it was called?
  • I was able to find the controller.

  • Wow, that's a lot of crazy stuff, Neo! o.o

Wow! I have never seen this before, as an avid FF fan it's pretty cool to see. Thanks for showing me it Neo
  • You're welcome.
  • I've got a Net Yaroze. Not much different than a standard controller, but the matte finish is really grippy.

I've also got an ASCII Sphere 360 controller, which is super fun to use on Descent. Plus it's almost like a one handed controller since the other hand is on the ball.
  • Thanks for sharing everyone. There's some pretty awesome stuff in this thread so far.
  • Man, I'm kinda feeling left out here, I don't have any obscure or rare PS stuff... except for maybe two red PS1 controllers with no analog... but I really wont count those as rare, maybe just a little uncommon.

PLAYSTATION 1 "HAPPY DIET STEPPER" CONTROLLER

Sony was trying the fitness thing well before Nintendo's Wii Fit, but it didn't sell very well. These orange flippers are nearly impossible to find

Comes with three games: "Happy Diet," "Happy Jogging in Hawaii," and "Tonde! Tonde! Diet!"

    eBay Price: $549.99

Of course that ricidulous price is from that PS Museum user we all know about, the same douche selling:

    SONY PS1 PROTOTYPE KEYBOARD/MOUSE ADAPTOR

WHERE was this when I was making that lengthy RPG Maker game? I had to select every letter with the control pad

All that's missing is a TV tray and the console/PC gap would have been officially shut by 1998. Shame

    eBay Price: $399.99

Anywho, saying I can't have it is all the motivation I need to obtain one and guess what arrived!

It cost me 500 yen for the controller, $100 to ship it. SCREW YOU PS MUSEUM

And is it my imagination, or is that pedobear? Should I be worried about a camera hidden in this thing?
  • Hahaha! "Things you can't ever have"? Yeah, right! Seems like you proved that guy wrong rather easily.

Pedobear's silhouette looks like he wants to grope you ... o.o

Edit: I just took a look through what was for sale on auctions.yahoo.co.kp when it came to PS1 controllers, and the single button "Mickey Mouse" mouse was the least weirdest of those that caught my attention. No, the more interesting were the following:

    Slots game controller

    Train controller

    Tambourine controller

Yes, a tambourine controller. Tambourine Hero 5, anyone? xD
  • I'd say that this ranks up there with the rarest of PS accessories.

  • I have one of those too
  • love that bottle there Stu, but I think I said that before
  • that happy diet, did it ever come with a box? i wonder how that looks
  • Can't see either of the images. :/
  • Arg! It disappeared from my plus account

  • Ooh, look at that! I like that box.
