Wow, I love all the people trying to run this place.
"What? That's dumb."
"Don't make the thread then."
"This shold be locked."
I'm fairly sure it's been like this on the forums for quite some time now and I doubt you'll be the one to change it.
It's called someone being nice and posting a link, whoever snags it first gets it and asks to remove the link so other people don't steal it as has happened many times.
Complaining about it simply makes me weary of your intentions and assume you'd be one of those people who would steal them.

Just my opinion though.
I think that people are just curious. If the link remained there, everyone would have known that it's just a pile of commons with a nice CIB and would have said : "Hey congrats for the great deal damage!"

Why make a post and then remove the link?
Just to tease me or something?

So that other Shady members do not offer the seller more $$ , to screw the orginal auction winner over.

If you received the stuff, then can you post the link?
Why don't you put in a little effort and check his bid history if you're truly that interested?
no manual, or box so its not that worth while
I finally have the internet back, here's the mystery lot:
the seller threw everyting into a flat rate box with no packing materials inside, but it arrived in good shape
