WTB/WTTF: Hint/Guide Books

Hey guys/gals,



If anyone has the following hint/guide books they'd like to sell or trade, LMK:



* Maniac Mansion Hint Book (pending)

Dungeon Magic Guide Book (does this exist?)

Ultima Quest of the Avatar Guide Book



On another note, here are the ones I have -- if you see any missing, I'd be interested in knowing that:



** Deja Vu Hint Book

** Ultima Exodus

** Wizardy Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord

    Does your list consist of only mail-order guides? If not, you could add the Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden II, and SMB 3 official Nintendo Power strategy guides to the list (I believe each were released in two versions, one with address field for mail use, and one without it for in-store use).

    In what stores? NP was subscription-only at the time.

    IIRC I bought a brand new one at Funcoland (pretty sure, although it was around 1996-97...may have been another game store) and it did not have the white area for the address on the back. It may have been a coincidence. Weren't NPs shipped inside plastic bags at a later point? Just speculating here, but if my in-store purchase was a coincidence, could it be that maybe the back order issues were sent inside plastic bags without the white field on the back (since the addresses would be stickied on the outside of the plastic bags anyways)?

    I have seen a book for battletoads at one point, though I am unsure if it was just a small book or full blown walkthrough.  I might have a picture floating around one of my computers but for some reason I remember trying to find it at one point and failing.  LMK if you'd like me to look for it.  There was a seller selling a ton of the hint guides and books about two years ago and had a ton I had never seen or heard of.
