Hi

I've been lurking for years, I finally signed up so I could purchase the ENIO board.  (too afraid to modify my NES for extra sound)

I've always been a classic gamer. Seriously, when I got my Super Nintendo it was already 1994, then when I finally got my N64 it was 2000....so I've always been behind. Some could argue that its unhealthy to live in the past, but in my opinion either gaming outgrew me...or I outgrew gaming, perhaps modern games just changed too much from what I originally liked when I was five years old....whatever, the point is that I'm here because I like vintage games.

I'm not a perfectionist collector, but If I see something weird, cool, or just a really good bargain I indulge. I'm a big fan of rom hacks, homebrew, and hacking hardware. I've been blown away and otherwise seriously impressed with what NA and NESDev members have come up with, and well what can I say, I'm an enthusiast.

I especcially enjoy playing hacks and games from other countries on my PowerPaks and Everdrives. So, yeah I'm one of those guys that appreciates emulation but prefers real hardware when available. I'm also a fanatic when it comes to what version of a specific game is best. Arcade or Console?, if so which console?, what revision?, which region?, is it censored?, etc ....real confusing sometimes.
