The past few issues of nintendo power i've recieved have no poster in them whatsoever (including the 20th anniversary issue) than I go into barns and noble, and the version they sell has posters wtf!!! Im really mad, ill probably quit my subscription when its over,  Future US inc sucks, i bet you the staff hates them too.

    I've been screwed over with things like that from a couple different magazines I've subscribed to. Play magazine, EGM, Playstation Magazine (when it was around), and a couple others. Missing demo discs, posters, etc. Most companies will send you the missing stuff if you just give them a call and let 'em know, and you might even snag a bonus issue or two in your subscription if you talk your way high enough up their customer service ladder. Just keep asking for supervisors, and supervisors of supervisors, and so on until you get what you want, lol.

    After working at a call centre for Sprint/Nextel phones in the states, that's all I do.

    "Hi, my name is so and so..."
    "Yeah, can I speak to your supervisor?"

    That's how all my calls to customer service go.

    So is there also no bonus strategy guides or anything when you subscribe anymore? On the website they offer a free Mario Kart guide when you renew but new subscribers get nothing?

    Ok this is BS I just checked again hoping they would have something by now...  no.  So just for shits I click on Canada subscriptions and they get a free guide but US subscribers get nothing.  WTF?

    I'm not 100% sure, but we probably still pay more for the magazine despite the dollars being fairly equal.

    I just think its crap because I really want to subscribe, but, I will feel cheated if I dont get a guide when everyone else does.

    Is anyone else annoyed that NP now has 2 cover every month!! They have a collectors cover for the subscribers and a standard cover for the stores. I have been modestly working on a NP collection for a few years and have about 3/4 of the library, but now having to get 2 copies for each new issues seems annoying to me.

    I think NP has been pretty weak for years now. It just isn't the same mag that I used to look forward to. I had a subscription from the beginning (I wish I still had them) and I would read it cover to cover multiple times. Now, I just see them pushing a bunch of 3rd party crap that I will likely never play. I guess that is why I am mostly a retro gamer. I would say that NP peaked in their first 30 or so issues and has been downhill from there. I had a subscription for the past couple of years and I just let it expire. I would like to collect the library myself, but could honestly be call it a day with the first 30. The 2 cover deal is pretty annoying as well, especially when they have nothing to say.

    The only reason I currently subscribe is because of a deal I got through Amazon. It is a nice read, but it's not like the good old days.

    ditto, only it's a gamecrazy thing and not amazon.  get their discount card, free subscription.
