Cornerstone Contest #2
So far we have conerstones for Super Mario Bros., Solomon's Key, Pac-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Metroid, Kid Niki, Solar Jetman, Jackal, Fire n' Ice, Blaster Master, Super C, Tetris, and Adventures of Lolo. Let's see if we can get quite a bit more on this round. I'll host it this time, so I'll come up with a really good prize for whomever wins.
The Rules:
1.) Pick any two NES games that you'd like to design a cornerstone graphic for, design, and submit them. Maybe try picking games that were sentimental to YOU. Who better to make a cornerstone?
2.) You can submit more than two cornerstones, and we encourage you to -- the more you submit, the better your chances of winning, and the more we have for the site and everyone to enjoy.
3.) All cornerstones will be posted anonymously by myself before judging begins, so please send them via email to rrburdge@yahoo.com.
4.) All judging will be by the members of the site.
5.) The winner will be announced and will receive a very nice prize! What prize you say? You'll just have to WIN to find out! You won't be disappointed.
6.) The winner can be located anywhere in the world!
7.) The contest begins NOW and all submissions need to be in by Sunday, June 17th at Midnight EST.
Image Requirements:
1.) The file must be in GIF 89a format (transparent, if there's white space).
2.) The image must be 200 pixels wide x 250 pixels tall.
3.) The image must be bottom left justified with any extra space at the top and/or right side (see pic)
4.) The image must have the NintendoAge logo on it somewhere. You can even alter the logo to fit the theme of the cornerstone, so long as you can see it.
Here are some past submissions.

Comments
I was supposed to do this contest last month and totally forgot about it. I will for sure make a few and see if I can win again

I could probably do up a few, but what the hell is "gif 89a" format?
It's just the regular gif format.

As for using #3 for the forums, that's a great idea! And since Dain doesn't have enough to keep himself busy, that one could be dynamic and display 8 (or 9) random avatars based whose is currently logged in

As for the #3 idea, it's certainly possible, but it requires rendering a dynamic image with Java and would slow the page load even more -- let's wait until we have a new server. I love the idea!
Hey Dain, where are your submissions???????????
