I've discovered some very cheap game mechanics that work in my favor I messed up on the boss fight after the baseball field, after the elevator, and the next part of that level there. Had I done the upper cut instead of a jump kick, I'd have a higher score.

Only 111k to beat Galaticlint's score... I'm fairly confident I'll be able to run through the entire game by the weeks end.

Beat SoR 2 on the Normal difficulty, 4th time playing it, died 4 times. Twice in the last level (once against Mr. X). For some reason, my 3xx,xxx pic disappeared... weird.
This is a bit more respectable but almost made it to rd5 if it wasn't for the roid rage'in wrestler which I almost defeated but yet again the bosses in the game are crazy hard. The elevator ride down took me for most of my lives.
Almost got to round 7, I lost focus and died once before the boss (jet man + zamza again), and then died at the boss. I feel like a champ now. 5th time playing

And so you should. I naively assumed that gal' score would not be beat. I guess not everyone one else gives up as easily and is not as lazy as myself, well done senorita!
First try was going well. I was at 5 lives remaining after earning a couple. Then i fought 2 ninjas and that crazy thing with spikey hair and long claws at the same time. They fucked me out of every life. I would be born and just get creamed with spinning ninja flips across the screen with weapons in hand and the skipey haired guy throwing me up in the air with the claws. Fml. I used to play this game all the time and have beat it plenty of times. I need to knock off some rust.
Omg. I'm about to join dane in quitting. Every time i get to the fucking wrestler i am on my last live and die. Beating him and ending the level is a huge difference in score, but i just can't do it.
Ha ha, that's my motto "quite cause it's too hard"! I have gotten nearly up to four hundred thousand now, but still too far away from the top position for me to keep trying as i felt like that was the best I could do.
I'm done, my thumb is bruised and my wrist is fucked up.
I cannot beat that shitheaded sailor guy, I got to him with three lives and a full bar once and he just slammed through everything I had. Just beating him and finishing that level would have sent me well into the mid 500ks and then there's a bit of cannon fodder afterward for point milking and the robots are easy.
I probably spent like four hours playing this today, I give up.
God dammit I am so pissed, no better than my first couple tries, hours later.
Let me say re-emphasize I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF.
