Too good to be true?

According to this eBayer who has 99.7% feedback, if the bids for his Sega Dreamcast Sports Edition go over $35...okay it's so ridiculous just go here. I'm trying to figure out what this guys deal is but he's got good feedback I'm almost tempted to bid and see what happens...

  • Yea msg him and ask him, be his dreamcast is somehow modded to play roms off disc

    Otherwise hes stupid
  • Yah, for sure roms. I think they can run something like Bleemcast or a similar name.. not sure.
  • in fact you dont even need to have your dreamcast modded. The early dreamcasts had no lockout stuff in them so you could literally play back ups off a CD-R. i have about 700 nes roms on a blank cd i can just copy in my computer drive and they will play on the dreamcasts. ive made copies for a bunch of friends. also have a bunch of the rare japanese shooter stuff.
  • The sports model has a lockout as far as I know, but it's pretty easy to find the software to bypass it.
  • Yeah, the copy protection on the DC was completely trashed. There was autoboot on most DC scene releases.
