Super Turrican NTSC proto...pics.

I noted you guys had a space written for the NTSC proto of Super Turrican in the database, but hardly any information. So I took this picture, and as a token of my appreciation for this site, I hereby give you permission to use them. This is actually a scaled-down version of my original...Photobucket automatically reduced it from its 2048 x 1536 regular size. If you'd like the regular size version, I can e-mail it to you. Anyway, without further ado, here is the pic:

  • Cool, thanks! I added it to the page. If you have any more info you want to share about it, just let me know. For protos, we tend to talk about how they were obtained, by whom, etc.
  • Well, I bought the one pictured, as well as the other known ST proto (which is only the PRG and CHR EPROMs, unmounted, as opposed to the pictured one) from vixenkit (who somehow found and cleaned out an Accolade (company) development site) over at Digital Press some time ago. Though others offered her quite a bit more (in fact, close to 50% more than what I offered), she said she'd sell it to me to have a clear conscience. I thought it strange for something like that to happen, but when they arrived in the mail a few days later, I was ecstatic. I think I may have her original pictures on here, as well...including the five screenshots she took. But Dain, I think I'd have to e-mail that one, as the pics are all in one file (it's a habit of mine to kinda make a collage when I have multiple different pictures of the same thing).

Edit: In case you're wondering what the stickers say, it's "Super Turrican MMC3 PRG 4-21-92" and "Super Turrican MMC3 CHR 4-21-92". image
