gah! I was ready to call you crazy until I saw the last pic. It almost looks like you have a yellow bulb behind it in the last pic... I think it's silver regardless.
I don't know, every time I look at it at different angles I am still seeing gold using several different light sources. Is there not any way from the serial # to figure this out? Just didn't want to put this on eBay as the wrong color.
There's 2 "gold" Game Boy Advance SP colors: LE Zelda SP and the Gold "Starlight" SP. There's also a Starlight GameCube that was release around the same time only in Japan.
Hrm, well 1 vote for silver, 3 for platinum, 1 for starlight gold. Thanks for the input though guys, anyone else? Does anyone here have a starlight gold?
Its really hard to tell, i'd go with starlight gold too as it doesn't seem quite right to be platinum. Guess it would help if you could get hold of a platinum console to compare them!

Starlight Gold - Toys 'R' Us Branded Edition - holiday 2003 - packed w/ Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Brothers 3
Also, there's another Gold GBA SP that I've never seen for sale, but it's definitely not that one. I have an old thread about it: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=60690
