Copy nes USB.





My copy nes USB arrived today. Delighted. Not sure if I got all the pieces with it though.



Got a USB lead and copy nes board. The instructions mention and included CPU board which I never received with my order? Is this missing does anyone know.?

    I believe the CPU board needs to be despldered from the Nintendo

    you need to remove the CPU from the NES mobo and solder the socket into the place the CPU was populated

    I didn't know it was that easy to install, I went ahead and bought one to experiment with.

    ya I know I need to solder socket in place of CPU, I didn't get socket with order just USB lead

    There is nothing special about the socket - it's just a standard IC socket. Radio Shack carries them. Although, I do believe the CopyNES was supposed to include one. I installed one for a friend a couple of years ago, and it came with a socket.
