  • Almost positive you can't. Is it professionally framed, or can you ship it rolled?
  • Media mail only covers dvds, books, cds, vhs and games.
  • Games aren't allowed to be shipped media mail. https://www.usps.com/ship/media-mail.htm

Here's the list of allowed items. Doesn't look like you can ship posters. http://about.usps.com/notices/not121/not121.htm

  • Don't know about professionally framed. but i really don't want it to be rolled up and taken out of the frame. guess ill have to pay the extra shipping then....

Odd, because my post office allows games to be shipped media mail. When I go to the counter they ask "What are you shipping?" and I tell them "Its a video game." and they tell me my options which includes media mail. I used it a few times when I started to sell stuff on eBay a long time ago. I wouldn't recommend it, takes longer to ship plus after reading some stories you could get a fine and pay extra.

Yeah, I've been told both ways at the local post offices. Most of the games I ship fall under first class anyway so I just go with that.

For sure, you cannot send games via USPS Media Mail .  You might be able to get by this with one or two negligent post offices when sending out a package, but more than once, my local P.O. has actually opened my package to view the contents and then charge me for the proper rate before I can receive the package.

Extremely stupid considering games are a "Media" and that they accept super heavy books and dvd's in that category.

Yea my PO tells me to ship media if its games, and I'm happy to. A little slower but by far the cheapest usually for more than 1-2 games
