Need Craigslist Help
Hey everyone.
I read through a very old thread from 2008 where everyone was going after a guy posting gaming wanted ads, paying very little for rare games, and flagging everyone else's ads. I am in a similar situation, and if anyone is willing to help me, it would greatly be appreciated.
I believe there are a couple, or even a FEW people consistently flagging my ads because they are far superior to theirs, and I have a hunch that I have way more people contacting me than them. I haven't flagged their ads until recenly because its getting rediculous.
I post my ads and they are literally flagged and removed within minutes. I never post the same ad twice, and only re-post if my first one has been flagged off. I am not breaking any craigslist rules, and its REALLY possing me off!
I posted a fake ad of a bundle of super nintendo games plus a system. I posted NO price or anything, just so see what people are offering. This guy emailed me and offered $15 for Mario Rpg, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Mario All Stars, Mario World, DK Country 1, 2, 3, Final Fantasy 2 and 3, and Turtles in Time. Needles to say, I never wrote back, haha.
He has even sent me vulgar text messages and emails calling me names and such. He is really a disgusting person who needs to be taught a lesson.
He says in his ads that he is not a reseller, but I have seen MULTIPLE ads every week of games he is selling, and he is always asking slightly ABOVE ebay pricing, not to mention that he always has a LOT for sale, no way they are all just doubles. Not at all a collector, just a liar and a jerk.
Here are some of the ads he has up right now:

Flagged every single one. You can imagine how bad Los Angeles is. I don't even bother with Craigslist anymore.
Craigslist is where I tend to get most of my stuff because I dont drive, and I have school 40 hours a week, and this guy must have moved here recently or something, because before, my ads never got flagged and it was great, now its terrible

Maybe its someone exploring a new area. The collecting scene is cutthroat right now. I used to get deals all the time 2 years ago but now you can't find jack shit. I wish you all the luck dude.

I feel ya coop, I can't even find anything around here, dry as can be on Craigslist.
Your pal, Mishkin,
as far as people posting CL ads here, its all over priced junk, but people responding to the wanted ads, its gold. I just want my fair share of it, instead of this guy flagging all my ads relentlessly, even after I nicely asked him to stop
but flag away if you can lol

Should we all just start texting and setting up fake meetings?
that would be......amazing...
if he finds out though, he might threaten you... lol

Thanks!
I just spent 25 minutes posting my ads, and they were ALL removed within 15 minutes. I don't even know how he can possibly remove them all that fast. I have been searching google all day for some sort of auto flagger, and so far, I havent found anything that has been confirmed to work, so what can he be doing????
So, yeah, I clicked on the links you gave for this guy and flagged em all. If his posts get removed and he relists tomorrow, let me know, i'll flag em again. People like this piss me off. I don't care that he's a reseller or that he's telling people that $15 for their Earthbound cart is a great deal. If those people sell to him for that price, it's up to them, but they shouldn't be denied the option to "shop around" on CL just because this prick is afraid of a little competition.

More Flags, More Fun!!!?!
I don't understand the flagging formula on CL. Lots of people reading this thread have flagged his posts and they're still up, yet yours get enough flags in 25 minutes for them to be dropped. Anyone know how many times a post has to be flagged before it is removed?

yep, those are mine. I used to just post it all in 1 ad, but it was too easy for him to flag, so I tried doing multiple ads, and it worked a little better for about a week
I searched "Nintendo" and yours were the first 8 in the list of results. Next time you post ads, maybe you should make it less obvious that they're all the same guy (you).
Rather than "WANTED SNES Games..." and "WANTED Sega Games...", try using different wording and locations for each ad like: "Looking for retro games - (Winter Park)" for one listing and "Willing to pay $$$ for old video games - (Orlando Area)" for the other.
Chances are he'll still flag you, it may just make it slightly less easy to spot them all as being yours.
EDIT: Or you could take Lincoln's suggestion and just burn the fucker's house down.
