replacement famicom decals

Hey guys I wound up with a famicom and it is in decent shape (not yellow) but the the decals over the power and reset buttons have some dirt under them. Also, the brass faceplates on the controllers are pretty worn. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement set of each? I found a website on google that sells both but its japanese and I'm not sure If I would be able to order from them (looks like they ship cod?).

  • Not sure, your best bet is to probably contact the seller, use Google Translate (Post in both english and japanese), and hope they can respond.

I have found this, not sure if you came across it:

Yeah I registered there and posted something similar. What kind of middle man should I use guys? Are there people who are trustworthy that would do this? Has anyone used a middle man here to get something otherwise not obtainable in their country?

I would ask flatuswalrus, he usually frequents SegaAge (But you can also contact him from here on NA or use your NA pass word and post there). He's dealt with 3rd parties to help him buy his Russian Megadrive games, he can probably tell you about the best services you can use to help buy stuff from different countries.

  • I would PM this person on NA: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=82668

If you still have problems, you can PM me the site you found and I can try contacting them.
