Hey Bronty, does Prince of Persia have the seam? A sealed one was on eBay last week and I really wanted it, but didn't put in a decent snipe because it had no seam... but the seller was selling other games with seam, so it "seemed" legit.
I bought a sealed NTSC Duck Tales recently from an Italian guy, no horizontal seam. Is it supposed to have a horizontal seam (I'm guessing it's a reseal as the shrinkwrap is pretty hard)?
Btw, what about adding a field for the type of shrinkwrap on each gamepage in the database, with the possibility of adding multiple incase of different releases? This would be quite useful for sealed game collectors and any collector in general that comes across a sealed game.

You read my mind! I'm adding that to the list of new meta data for each game. Some other fields that we're adding are: ISBN, top box flap orientation (some box top are upside down!), and a few others.

The new data fields sound nice, Dain. What about adding the possibility for top and side scans? I know that some box variants only have differences on the sides (i.e. the "Deutschland" vs "Westdeutschland" variant I discovered a while ago).

Are there any games that do not have the horizontal seam? If you know of any, could you post them, thanks.
pretty much every unlicensed game + some late issue ljn/acclaim/hi tech.
