    what does it do when you put it in a DS? Could be one of those limited Gamestop pokemon promotions where you can go to a store and download a rare item or something.

    Those are pretty hard to come by.



    Finding one at a thrift store is pretty amazing.



    I would love to find one at that price.



    Nintendo was very picky with these distribution carts and they are rarely leaked, unlike most other NFR carts.

    When you put it in a DS it's trying to run something but can't... maybe have to change the date of the DS? Not sure... it's a lot of codes

    Very nice find! I tried to collect these when I first joined NA but they do tend to be a very niche item and the price fluctuates a lot (yet stays in the pricey range!).



    In order for this to work, you will have to set your DS to the correct date, which I don't remember off hand.



    As far as value, there was one about a month ago on NA that sold for $121 at open auction, but I haven't kept up with the current trends: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=34&threadid=88129. I was a bidder at $105, but couldn't bring myself to bid more. If you're looking to sell or trade it, I'd be a buyer around that mark, but I'm sure you'll be able to sell it for more to someone else.

    I know this is an old thread but the way to make the cart work is to set the systems clock to the proper dates, the dates range from January 25th to February 13th 2013.
