Oh man, very tough to pick from all of those, I like a lot of them! I'm going to go with #13 (Contra) and #22 (Abadox) because I'm partial to the using game graphics look and I like those games

#25 is great too, but it's getting enough lovin' already

Oh, in addition to the idea of making #25 dynamic for the forums, you could also having it briefly switch to the stage selected screen where the boss does the little pose with the animated background and have the users avatar displayed and something like "user x has logged in" underneath.

Oh I can hear Dain groaning!

BTW, doesn't this forum software having a built-in poll system like most?

Yes, there is a poll system, but I wasn't sure how to use that and keep track of who voted. I didn't want anyone stuffing the ballot box!

I thought most of the poll systems prevented a registered user from voting more than once.

None of that "vote early and vote often", like they used to do in Chicago...

I'd be really surprised if the poll let us vote for two items. And I think with the number of submissions the contest would be really boring if we all only voted for one. I thought we'd be doing 3 this time, turnout was so good!
