I keep getting stuff from their dumpster but I have no idea what to do with it all. Any of you guys who have picked up pretty big lots of stuff from the dumpsters have a plan for all the stuff you get?

well, once i got a bilion posters i was going to auction the ones i didnt want off as a lot. figure i can roll up a bunch of posters in the same poster tube haha.
as for display boxes, ill probobly lot out a milion of them all at once after keeping the ones i want. figure ups sells a massive envelope to put them all in haha.
its all the empty ds & ps2 cases w/ artwork thats going to sit for a while i think. id like to fill them out, but i dont know if its going to ever going to happen. im sure ill slowly fill some of them out, and maybe years later auction off the artwork and manuals, but idk.
im also diggin all the preorder goods ive been digging out. its pretty cool beans
Wild questions from a cherry in this respect...can't you just ask them for this type of stuff?
Why would anyone do this? This seems like a blasphemous statement. My head is spinning from that question. The room is getting dark...hard..to ..breathe.....
I checked it also a bit ago and found nothing but empty boxes, and one box full of Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse posters that were soaking wet and warped, so I left them.
I did check behind Barnes & Noble just for something random, and while there (at 11:45 PM) an employee comes out of the back door (which is strange since they closed almost two hours previous and no cars there) looks at me strangely, and goes back inside, lol. B&N had nothing but a couple torn magazines and boxes.
Got about 12 big game display boxes Friday night including Epic Mickey 2, a dual Pokemon Black & White 2 box, & New Mario Bros U which was awesome. Plus 2 posters. Going again tomorrow. Unless I experience what Clone guy did, which I do from time to time, & go later.
My friend pulled a Resident Evil 6 banner that hung in a local Gamestop for me. Thing is pretty big and I have no room to put it up, so it's folded up and in a corner in my game room.
I personally got a Halo 4 countdown clock from Target. Has a "Free 5 Dollar Giftcard w/purchase" tag across the top. Funny thing was, the clock was set wrong and actually ran out two days after the game had already come out.
Ok so I hit the pool (dumpster) for some late night swimmin Mon night & find destroyed Grand Theft Auto V posters & Black Ops 2 cubes. Pissed me off, but I did get a couple of cases & a Superman Returns PS2 game. So it rains for 2 nights. Go tonight to the first one at the mall that has a regular dumpster they dump in & a cardboard dumpster. Had a hard time with the cardboard one but got everything but 2 posters before the night security run me off. Before that I saw in their regular dumpster 2 bags of GS trash & got them. Their was a layer of water in the bottom with way too many DS cases floating in for me to ignore. So I use my grabber to get them all. Just gotta dry & clean em but I got 25 DS cases. At the other GS in town they only had bags of trash but as I have said before thats where all the good stuff tends to be. Ended up with 2 of the Boderland 2 cubes in good shape, a buch of game cases, inserts & manuals, & some posters included the plastic Mario Kart 7 & Mario & Sonic Olympics. Plus got another set of the pokemon vinyl stickers. Pictures added later for my peeps.
Hey, do you guys have any tips? Most of the stuff I see is locked up or under constant surveillance, or even without any trash from any vendor no matter when do I go to it.

Good luck on your finds though. I saw someone at my local gamestop about 2 weeks ago around 2am and there were cops sitting right outside the parking lot watching him. I assumed they knew exactly what he/she was doing.
Managed to get some Devil May Cry Pre-order lanyards and tags, Vice City and Battlefield 2 for PS2, and 2 Mass Effect 3 posters in a poster tube earlier in the week.

So I am back home in Albany Ga from my Mom's house & I go swimming again, this time here. JACKPOT!! Two boxes full of posters & display boxes, rock band stuff, cases, GAMES, & more. Great haul from 2 GS dumpsters. But see for yourself.
I hope you guys have a nice weather controlled, dark, cool room to store all this stuff for about 30 years. By then it should be worth something lol.
nevertheless im sure u guys probably have a blast looking for goodies. Any of you ever try hitting a play n trade? or a store that deals in retro stuff?? I bet there would be all kinds of good retro crap thrown out. sticky button controllers, non working nes consoles, all kinds of goods.
Is this legal to do in penslivana and is it leagal to do if you rellsell the stuff im looking to get a ps3 and this may be my best option
supreme court has ruled that once its thrown out and in the trash, that its public domain. however, this is not a good option to finace a ps3. unless you can sell posters and display boxes........
also, i have ben dry the last feew weeks. i have found 2 racing games for the ps2, a baseball game for the ds, and a few posters. im going again in an hour or so, hopefully its better haha.
You can sell this stuff, it just takes time & patience to get the right people willing to pay for it. Just look on ebay at the completed auctions. I have sold stuff to the guys around town. One dude give me $20 for a big Black Ops 2 poster, not to mention the $20 I made from the gamecube gameboy player disc I found, & the $250 I got for the Keldeo distribution cart I found, all in the dumpsters. So forget the naysayers, & KEEP DIVING MY FRIENDS!!!!
Sorry for the double post but we are thinking that Saturday will be a good day to look. I just found a lot of stuff they got rid of in Albany (most of it older) & now I am back in Dublin & will look tonight & tomorrow as well. They should be changing to attract the last minute shoppers in the next few days. Plus we keep all their marketing plans they throw out so it gives us a sense of when & how they do things.
