Anyone ever play the Immortal?

Just picked this game up yesterday and its pretty sick, called The Immortal. Reminds me of a early rendition of Diablo, so any of you Diablo fans I would encourage to check it out as it is the closest ive found for the NES. Just checking to see if anyone else has played it.

    I tried it once and found it impossible. It's kind of like Dragon's Lair in that it needs requires precision timing with your button presses in order to accomplish anything. I didn't even get passed level one, but in that time I managed to die in about a dozen different ways. Good luck to whoever has the time and willpower to memorize their way through this quest!

    I hear ya Basil I got this game originally for the NES back in the day when it came out. Couldn't do crap on it. Then I got it for Genesis and beat it, plus better graphics. I have never tried to beat it again on NES as I always found it about impossible to play on the NES, but I did always like the death scenes.

    LOL, the comments above are exactly what happened to me. The NES version is a complete waste of time. Cool to look at it and try it for, i dunno, 10 seconds.

    The Genesis version is much better, but it's a Genesis.
