11/12/203
After a long dry spell, the last 2 weeks, have been very encouraging (minus missing out on the local Stadium Events . I haven't posted my other finds in awhile, but tonight I got the urge to share a lot I picked up today for $125. Funny thing is, the person responded to a post I made a week ago but i failed to follow up. I sent an email yesterday and she still had everything (and more). We met up tonight and I actually added a few items to my collection (mostly manuals). This stuff is in excellent shape so obvipsuly she kept good care of her things. In any case, here you go...

Here's some games I found on Thursday at a yard sale for $1.50 each...

September 21st Update:
GC was sitting in a free box. Other items were also good deals. ALL of the DS stuff was $30 bucks. I also found some sega, nes and snes items at various sales today.

Other historical finds from before....
Guy was selling his collection so he knew what he had. I paid $180 for the following games. I left so many beautiful games behind, but alas, I had to be somewhat responsible. I usually pay next to nothing for games, and I'm fdown to the last 50 or so licensed titles, so I splurged. I just wonder if I should feel like a got a decent deal or not,

$15 for 11 games. Red October and Wrestlemania are the only 2 I need, so the others will be sold or traded.

Picked these up last night. I don't really collect Sega or Sega 32x, but for $30 I figured I couldn't go wrong. They're all avialable to trade for NES carts, boxes or manuals.

Sometime quality takes precedent over quantity. Picked up this nice lot for $210. There's enough meat on the bone to add CT, FF2 and FF3 to my collection and make some money on this deal.
Pics at the bottom (sorry for the double pic as well as the crappiness of the pic-I took it with an iPhone)
I also saw this lot on eBay and asked the seller if he'd take $40. He added the BIN and now I've added a loose copy to go with my CIB. Party On!

Quick Story-Been emailing 2 different sellers since last evening. Was able to negotiate the purchase of everything seen in this link except for the 2 loose NES games at the end. Getting back to the 1st purchase, there's a ton in here, though I was only interested in the NES stuff, I had to buy it all. That's OK, cause I want to resell that stuff to recoup some of my investment. The Boxed NES stuff is a thing of beauty. I can't wait to go though my stuff and upgrade or add items to my CIB set.
As I was getting close to the 1st purchase, I received a phone call from the 2nd seller. They were asking $10 a game for every game, but I think you'll agree I did OK on the 2 I bought.
Now for any NJ collectors out there, I hope you weren't the one who tried to convince seller #1 to stand me up for an extra $30 or the one who told the seller you'd buy all the video games from the 2nd lot. You had me sweating it out until I had everything I really wanted. For the record, the 2nd seller still has GI Joe, Return of the Joker, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and a few others I wanted, but she really didn't want to break it up and I was fortunate to get the 2 I got. I wish I didn't have to leave the others behind, but they wanted $200 for the other 34 games and most were commons except for the ones I mentioned.
As far as prices...1st lot was $320. By far the most I've paid for anything in a long time, but i feel comfortable that I will add some killer new items and a ton of upgrades and ultimately will make some money off the lot. The 2nd 2 games I paid $10 each for and both going into my collection. Happy Monday indeed!
