I spent the whole night last night building the carts...they are in their cases, and half of them are screwed together. I got about 40 of them labeled up and ready to go in fact. Now just to number and box them all up
All 20 slots have been filled o_O ... Thanks to all that pre-ordered. I may consider taking more pre-orders, however, under a more normal premise...cost of game + cost of shipping and PayPal fees + $1 or so for effort (maybe something like $56 or $57 shipped). As to whether or not these would fall under that Special Edition cart twist...I'm unsure at this time. But as of right now, I think 20 would probably be enough to get at least one Special Edition cart. Thanks again .

How many carts did you make on this first run anyway, NGD? Any fear of selling out, considering the quickness of these preorders? I just want to make sure I get there early enough to get one for myself at the expo before all of the preorders eat up your stock...

Yeah, but honestly, NGD...is anyone just going to walk up and hand you $12,500 and take the whole box with them ? Although you never really know...too many deep-pocketed collectors these days.
Good luck, man. I hope you sell them all at the expo... but not before I get one. I'm trying to keep up with all commercially released (at least somewhat mass-produced) homebrews and repros on NESguide and I intend to include it. These homebrews confuse the hell out of the kids on youtube... "Wha? A game I haven't played on my emulator!? Are you sure this was released in the US? I've never heard of it before."
If you sell out before I get a crack at getting one for myself, someone's going to get severely punched. And I can't promise it'd be someone who deserves it.
