FA: ROB the Robot "NON DELUXE" Set
in NA Auctions
Heyo!
Up for auction is a "non deluxe" ROB the robot system set.
This is the one that started it all, the reason we are all here!!
In case you don't know, these were the first sets to go on sale, before Super Mario came out. After that the ROB sets were relabeled with Deluxe Set written on the side and a bigger picture of the contents.
This is a very complete set, missing only the Duck Hunt and Gyromite games. All ROB parts are included.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional pictures.
RULES:
- The auction ends Tuesday January 8th, 10:00pm NA time. If there is a bid in the final minute, the ending time will extend 1 minute, until there are no more bids for a full minute.
- All bids must be made public in this thread, no PM'd bids will be accepted
- Bidding starts at $20. Minimum bid increments of $1
- Shipping is NOT included in your bid, but exact shipping will be charged. The box will weigh about 12 pounds if you want to get an idea. I will ship worldwide, but just know you pay the shipping.
- I reserve the right to ask international winners to pay via gift if I am not confortable with your feedback.

As you can see, the box and edges show some wear. Still displays nicely, and It still has the nifty handle!
Styrofoam is mostly complete, but has a couple missing chunks.
For the good stuff, comes with all the ROB parts including his claws and battery covers. The gyro spinners have the paper warning covers. Also included are the unique ROB large manual, large ROB poster . That little yellow nintendo paper, and unopened ROB sunglasses. Also comes with the console, it's under the paperwork in the 3rd pic.

What is the serial number of the nes? I got a very incomplete one of these recently and it had a low serial number.
The NES doesn't appear to be the original one as the serial number isn't particulary low.
Recent sold ebay listings show these sell for at least $300, and up from there. Still plenty of room for someone to get a nice deal!
