Is anyone else half as jacked about college football starting up as I am?  My VOLS play tonight and I am very anxious to see how we do.  New QB and O-Coordinator, so it should be interesting.  Nervous and excited.

    Jonathan is a great kid. He tore teams up in high school. I used to work with his aunt who couldn't stop bragging about him.

    Vols should definitely been a contender for the SEC title this year. Best team they've had in quite some time.

    As long as they beat the Gators, I'll be happy.

    I have low expectations and how the surpass them.  But your last sentence couldn't be more true.  I pray the beat UF and break Tebow's leg.

    Should be a good game tonight, not sure what to think of UCLA.  I know their coach is well known for............lots of thingsimage

    I think we will get a good feel tonight if we can hang with Florida in a few weeks.

    Go Bucks. I was so excited for our first game. Are we going to have TV's at the Expo playing college football?



    Sucks about Beanie Wells though. Hopefully they'll just rest him against Ohio U and he'll be ready for USC.

    UCLA is pretty beat up though. They are starting their 3rd string QB, a completely new O-line as well. Plus the RB is hurt and wearing a huge knee brace. I am nervous about Crompton cause the few games he played in last year he didn't look to good... man I am pumped!

    I'm currently in a car on my way to the Mizzou game...really hoping we start picking up our pass defense, only thing that could possibly hold us up this year. I'm expecting us to move up from 6th to 5th tonight after USC trounces Ohio St....



    Blaine Gabbert took some snaps last week in the second half, hopefully he will be stepping up as expected to take over when Chase leaves next year.



    The KU loss was dissappointing last night, I always prefer to see Big 12 win non-conference games, but I was kind of expecting the loss, Kansas seems to get a lot of hype for beating teams that shouldn't pose a threat.

    Hey now. There are Ohio State fans here. I don't badmouth any of your teams, except when I had to drink out of that damn orange beer bottle in Tennessee. I don't think we'll get trounced, but it is highly improbable that we will win

    ross, the loss of beanie is like the pats losing brady. sure, the rest of the team is still pretty good, but let the trouncing begin! image trojans at home are damn near unbeatable. it would have been a tough win with wells, but with him out, watch out! sanchez and the trojans D are going to knock OSU down a few notches.

    I'm not delusional. I know we don't have much of a chance at all, but please, don't count out our defense.

    D's going to be on the field too much without wells there to keep the O on the field. plus, i dont like the idea of using pryor as an integral part of the offense in such hostile territory, but it might be OSU's only shot on offense, so i say give the kid the ball and see what he can do with it! both D's are great in this game, but this is being played in So Cal, not Ohio... they need to keep it close in the first half!

    it wasn't so bad this time G. They even put in the C squad and did damage to the UAB defense.



    35-3, and I'd say they could've put more up if Hardisty and Creer played more of the 4th. I will say, if they play FL with a first half like they did this week, it'll be an embarrassing loss again.

    damnnnnnnnnn go go go OSU!!! this is as good of a start as i could have hoped for. pryor is off to a nice start and looks good when he gets in there. usc is historically slow to start, but hey, if OSU can jump on the board first, that would be a small battle won!

    I wasn't badmouthing your team burdger, I just didn't see the opportunity for a win there, on the road without Beanie. I could've elaborated a bit more maybe image At least you won't take a huge hit in the rankings, I'm guessing you'll drop to around 9. And you have a good enough quality of schedule remaining to win out and put yourself in prime position should any of the remaining top teams falter (sound familiar? image



    How about Georgia...didn't expect that to be such a close game, couldve been very bad for them had that endzone fumble not worked out in their favor.



    Mizzou blew out Nevada..unfortunately the defense started off the way they had been playing the last two weeks. Second half defense started looking like we were expecting them to. Hopefully this trend continues through next week and into conference play. Heisman Watch on Daniel, his numbers are ridiculous and watching him play is a blast, especially connecting with Maclin who should get consideration in his own right.



    Glad to see the Vols pick it up this week, I'm excited to see the game next week - go ahead and shut Tebow down will ya? image



    A side question to everyone: What's you stance on Conference Championships? Keep em as they are, eliminate, or require for all BCS conferences?

    There is no way we will get into a championship game now. That was hard to watch, mainly because it seemed like Tressel went away from what was successful, Pryor!

    After another terrible performance againist UF, I officially announce that we are not longer an SEC power house team, we are a mid tier team at best now image I hate Tim Tebow and Urban Legend.
