Big collection purchase today, 1/31/2013

Edit: I've been getting tons of PMs asking about buying stuff, just wanted to let everyone know that most of the N64 and SNES games are sold already, including MMX2, MM7, FFII/III, CBFD, and most of the other popular games.

Picked up a really nice little collection today for close to $1000. A lot of cash to be sure, but still a very good purchase. Included about 150 games between NES/SNES/N64, a couple of boxed systems, a bunch of boxed games, and some nice accessories.

There are a lot more games that aren't visible in the pictures, but I picked out the nice ones to snap pics of:

    Everything is for sale
  • Whoever owned that had really good taste in games, nice find, and props for puttin up the cash to get it.
  • Thats a pretty clean looking challenge set. Did it come with the "challenge set" smb 3 box?

Lotts of great games and...... wait a second..... dogbone controller........ Top Loader!!!

Dammit..... my life is a lie...... I need to find that ribbon FML

EDIT: Just did a little research. It's a sticker that goes around 3/4 of the box. I would assume that sticker would still be on the box if it were originally a "challenge set" smb 3.
  • The SMB 3 definitely isn't the one that came with the system.

Yeah it's like a piece of wide tape, there is no way you could get it off of the SMB 3 box without destroying it.

Good stuff Pat, get to selling it and finish off your place already!

I'll give you 5 dollars more than whatever K3VBOT offers for that top loader.

I'll teach him not to take all the top loaders from our Disc Replay!

    Hey ProtoScott... Guess what?

Disk replay has another top loader in... Oh wait, no they don't..... I bought it !!!

  • What are they selling em for?

Disk Replay sells them for 55$, but they sell for right around 75-85 with the dogbone controller on eBay

And there are some people wanting them in the WTB threads

  • Yeah, I'd buy them up for $55 all day long with a dogbone. I can usually get $100 for a top loader with a dogbone and a few cheap games. I'd be willing to do a nice deal for an NA member though.
  • I'm in no real need, but here are some members who have WTB threads wanting a top loader.

Some of the WTB threads are older, but RyanSNES and J.B-Sweden are recent within the last week or so

  • I'm impressed, there's a nice spread of stuff there and it appears to be in really fine shape too.
  • Ugh - Of course I need Mega Man 7  Lol
  • No brainier buy there for a smidge under 1k. Nice!
  • Pretty nice score for under a grand, I've noticed a few people dumping their collections lately, mostly guys who've done it for under 2 years. Been seeing alot of shitty lots of maybe 40 games on eBay lately for over a grand, full of complete garbage $2 games.
