A small haul
Picked up these today from two places around town. The four GBA games from one place ($10) and the rest from another ($30). It's not a spectacular deal but for $40 it did fill a few holes.

2 DK3's paid for it.
Me: How much are you asking per game?
Guy: Make me an offer.
Me: Would you take $40 for the whole lot?
Guy: Sounds good, I'd better call my wife and kid to make sure $40 is good for them.
Me: Ok.
Calls his wife and it's a go.
Guy: Alright, looks like it's yours.
Me: Great, thank you very much. I'm looking forward to playing these.
I start walking out the door and the phone rings, it's his daughter so he kind of stops me (meanwhile, I've got a sick feeling in my stomach). She said she wanted Super Mario World, Bubsy and Donkey Kong Country. So I rumage through the box and handed the three games back to him with a sigh of relief. And now I can head out the door.
Guy: Hold on a moment.
A sick feeling runs through me again.
Me: Yeah?
Guy: The offer just went down, do you have $10 on you?
Me: Reaches into my wallet and pulled out a $10 and hands it to him.
I start thinking how many more times is he going to try to extort money from me before I get to my car.
Guy: Here (hands me a $20 bill back).
Me (confused): Huh?
Guy: If they're going to change the deal after it's been made, the offer is $30 for what you have left.
Me: That isn't necessary.
Guy: You're a businessman (we had talked breifly before coming to a deal), this is what's been negotiated now.
Me: :Chuckles: Well thank you sir, you're too kind.
Guy: Glad to hear it, I've been wanting these out of here for a while now, it's been nothing but clutter.
Me: Glad I could help rid you of your problem. If you know anyone else that wants to get rid of their games please give them my number.
And out the door I went.
Really nice guy, I found out that he's my Dads insurance agent. Hopefully he finds more people that want to get rid of their games and I get a call.
