A day of almosts!!
So today I had the day off so I figured I'd go around to a bunch of local game stores in the area. The first store I picked up:
Viewtiful Joe - $7 (long overdue imo, so far I'm really enjoying it)
Killer 7 - $10 - (meh)
Goemon's Great Adventure cart - $15 - Score!!
The second store I went to had a nice selection of gamecube games but ridiculous prices (Oh Wind Waker for $68.99, you don't say?), so needless to say I left emptyhanded.
The third store was the heartbreaker. I've been to this place a million times and rarely do they have anything remotely rare but they had 2 copies of Stunt Racer 64 for $5 a piece!! I quickly asked to take a look at them and turns out they were in terrible condition. I start looking through the nes stuff and suddenly I see Snow Brothers for NES in box!! (no manual unfortunately). But upon closer inspection this thing was in horrid shape. 3 different stickers on the box, the cart's label was intact but had a torn blockbloster sticker spanning from the front to the back, another rental copy sticker on the back and some sharpie as well. Not to mention the $150 price tag the seller wanted for it. I had to pass...
The 4th store was inner city style and every game they had was also in terrible condition, managed to pick up a nice CIB copy of Kirby The Crystal Shards for $25 which is somewhat of a deal.
Overall, not a bad day! Definitley always an adventure out there searching for games in the wild.
