My first ever trip to my local Game Xchange
After reading a thread related to GX,I made it a point today to go there. Definitely glad I did. While I got nothing mind blowing,I am happy with what I found.
The plunder:
NES Advantage: $4.95
NHLPA 93: $0.95
Tecmo Super Bowl: $9.95

Like I said, nothing crazy. Pretty stoked about the advantage as I've never owned one.
One thing about GX that was pretty crazy was the sheer amount of sports games they had for every system.Especially Madden games. Renaming the company The John Madden Game Exchange could easily apply here...wow. They didn't have crap in the nes or snes department. Saw lots of Captain Skyhawks in the nes section and Madden and other sports games in the snes section. I hope next time they have a wider selection of nes games, but I won't hold my breath.

My local GX has slim pickings for snes and nes too. Nice find on that Nes Advantage, I never see those around anymore.
Thanks! They only had one nes controller,a zapper (for $6.95) and the advantage. The controller and advantage did not have price tags on them. I asked about the advantage price thinking it's probably $15-$20 if the zapper is almost $7. He came back...$4.95. Sold. And considering a Tecmo Super Bowl cart on ebay seems to go for around $18-$20,I figured it was a good deal. Funny thing is 2 years ago I literally couldn't give my spare cib copy away.

It's all based on what people bring in. Usually the good stuff flies out the door within 2 days of it being brought in if the people working there don't nab it first. Back when I lived in CT, I was pretty good buds with a couple of the guys who worked in Orange and they would tell me when anything cool came in so I could check it out. I've definitely gotten some amazing deals in GXC, but you only get them from going all the time.
yea that basically sums it up lol

That is the best football ever!
Did you see the updated version of Tecmo Super Bowl 2012 and 2013?
