Going through my stuff and found a couple of nifty paper items.
Years back I bought out a collection from a guy who happened to basically save everything. He had a bunch of Nintendo Powers, Fun Club stuff, and black box games mainly. I was looking for something I've misplaced and stumbled upon these which I thought were neat.
The first picture is the envelope that contained the "Fun Club Membership" card for a new member. The second is an envelope (probably from around the mid 80s) from Nintendo to the previously mentioned person I bought the collection from.

The Fun Club Membership envelope is pretty unique imo as it seems that most people threw those away for sure.

I wonder what happened to Jerry Birdsong. Maybe he went to college, met a girl, got married, had some kids. Maybe he thinks about the day this arrived in the mail and the excitement that ensued.
For some reason this struck me as incredibly poignant and beautiful. Kudos.
