Oh come on seriously?! Goodwill having that much and not at shopgoodwill or worse type prices? That's nuts. Hope you enjoy your stuff and you pass on the good karma pricing nicely those duplicates to whoever gets them.
Sheesh Texas again! I'm wondering if there's wells out there that deep in the earth tap into fossilized old games that just pop up like the oil all over as I can't think of any other state where stuff like this happens in any measurable amount with such fair consistency. In two states and probably 5 years I've never seen let alone taken 5-10% of that kind of stuff out of any of them.
Well if this was in Austin, consider me jealous. All the Austin goodwills seem to have taken all the video game stuff and have started listing it on shopgoodwill since the new year.
This is like a lifetime of Goodwill finds for me! I'm starting to get very jealous of everyone always finding these awesome rare and CIB games for like 3 bucks... I think I may have to take a few weeks off work and just go on a "Goodwill road trip tour" until I find something...
I am late to this thread and I dont know you but I hate you My goodwill charges 4$ for SNES NBA Showdown...and they never have anything even close to this. Jealous.
Jesus Christ dude, awesome finds! This is why I love/hate this site sometimes. Your single find here is better than like... any two or three I've ever had!
^Wow that's greedy, stupid, and infuriating seeing that price and who's selling. There's no goodwill at that goodwill at all.
I agree. It's ridiculous that they're starting to jack prices up on everything around here. Another favorite for the Goodwills is selling consoles for ebay prices, but not including any of the cables or controllers with it and selling those for ebay prices as well. I've even found an N64 before, found the cords and controllers for it from different parts of the store, and they wouldn't let me combine them all at one price.
Also, you'd probably be shocked just how many games never even see the shelves of the store and are hijacked by employees. One thrift store I go to has the employees take the stuff they want and put it on a back shelf near ANOTHER shelf that says "Lay a way". So people assume the stuff is set aside for other people. You should see the absolutely scathing looks I get from employees when I ask to see consoles or games on the back wall.

If I find thrift stores that take in consoles, remove the cables, and individually price those, I yank the tags off the cables, plug them into the console and take it to the counter like that. Never had them say anything about it. Some people might call it dishonest, but honestly if they're trying to scalp money at that petty of a level then fuck 'em. I can play that too.
Wonderful finds! I find nice stuff at Goodwill, but rarely stuff of that calibre and never all at once. The best thing I found at one of our Goodwills was a Ducktales 2.
that is an amazing find. That is more stuff than I have ever seen at an op shop (and I have visited them over 1000 times). Why can't I find stuff like that at any of mine.
Also, that is disgraceful charging $175 for something that was donated to them for free. My op shops aren't allowed to sell consoles anymore as people have plugged in various electrical items and blown their house circuits and tried to sue them

Holy fucking shit fuck!!
I 3rd that emotion with a hearty "bloody effing hell!" thrown in.
Edit: This must be from the fabled Goodwil store that appears once every purple moon to restore hope and peace in the store chain.
Very impressive. I have never seen even one decent item at my local Goodwill
