I don't really have a collecting goal. I pretty much buy whatever catch my interest. But right now I would like to come complete my 32X CIB. I'm just missing two games.
US N64 set ( loose) - 22 remaining US TG-16 HU set (hu, manual, jewel)- 22 remaining US Sega Master System set ( minus stickered sonic, CIB)- 16 remaining

My goals have changed in recent months. My main collecting goals right now are to get every Quickshot accessory boxed, and other other weird accessories that interest me.
Going for a complete sega cd set. I'm also picking up saturn import shmups as the paycheck allows and getting some CIB genesis along the way. I'm still all over the place as usual, some things never change.
My goal is to get the games I loved as a kid and few others that I missed now that I can afford them. I don't need a complete set but the games I want will have to be complete, not in mint collectors condition but in good complete condition.

Of course I want to recreate my childhood stash as well as get a lot of great 'new' games. I only have a few gen titles to go in my personal want list then after that it's pretty slim on the sega side.
Between both sega and nintendo I have one common goal; To get all the food based games and earn my Taco Time award icon.
I'm new to collecting Sega so my collecting goal is to start getting nothing but CIB and a few repros; mainly the Megaman repro.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, grab a copy of Alien Soldier, it's a complete no brainer in my eyes. I would think it's easily one of the best games on the system that didn't come stateside.
I never saw this thread originally, so I'll weigh in as well. My goal for 2012 was to complete the Sega CD and get 50% CIB Genesis. Done.
For 2013, my goal is to get within 50 or so titles of a complete CIB Genesis collection, preferably down to 20. That means I need to pick up about 175 games between now and then, many of them $5 or less titles. I plan to do so without completely breaking the bank, which means buying lots and doing some buying in the wild. I also need to build another shelf - I seem to have filled all mine up.
My Current Goal is to get all the Xbox Variations, Platinum Hits Titles, and PAL, and Japan Only Xbox Games. Then I will be Xbox man leading the way. lol But first things first get the Xbox 360 only games and sprinkle a bit of Saturn and SNES games in there to sweeten the deal.

Do you mean games released for the 360 but not the Wii and PS3? Or did you mean something else?
That's it only Xbox 360 Only games which were not that many and maybe some Xbox 360 Japan only titles. For the Xbox platinum hits set I have about 20 titles and for movie stuff ie ticket variations about 6 games left Kind of Having a difficult time getting Chronicles of Narnia The Lion Witch and Wardrobe because most people used the ticket . For Japan Games I'm going big and try to acquire Metal Wolf Chaos on the cheap haha if only.
Other wise I already have most of the rare items on Sega that I wanted, TG 16 stuff, NES, SNES, S1, PS2, Genepsis, Game boy Color, GBA, Nintendo DS, Gamecube, Wii, Game.com, Neo Geo Pocket. So yeah I'm good And to Forgotten Freshness did you find a sealed Copy of Aerofighters to replace your beat up one lol. Trying to lowball me and make me jealous with a mountain rally, speed racer VGA game pfft you still haven't found a Brand new copy in like 10 years take that VGA heathen .

This is me also. Just quality games I will enjoy. I've been having a lot of fun on handhelds lately so I'll be picking up quality GG titles soon.
After that, I am not sure have a few side sets on the back burner...Dreamcast, PS1 Long Box, PS1 RPG's...and Genesis. I am debating starting Xbox.
I will complete at least 2 sets this year, most likely Dreamcast or PS1 LBs but I may go big and knock out Genesis.

^^^Xbox will be relatively easy. They go for dirt cheap. How many you need for Genesis now?
