WAR in the universe
I saw on the discovery channel that the usa actualy has a war plan if aliens come to earth
I think that its more likely the other way around
(Humans are going to other planets to get the water etc.)
But how would we do if we would get attacked or attack another planet?

i think we got some experience so we wouldn't be crushed soon.. unless its an all-out destruction war, where the "aliens" dont care about colonizing earth, just destroying it.. that could be done in a matter of minutes without us having a chance

Strangly i think that if aliens would come to take over planet earth they would not use weapons of mass destruction BUT hand to hand combat.
Because if they are smart enough to get here,they are smart enough to know we would use FULL nucelair power and destroy the planet and it will become useless to them.(i voted draw)
Another question that comes to mind is: let say they make it here wich country or part of the world would give them the most trouble to take over?
Almost everybody says usa in movies etc. but i think that china would give them the most trouble.
Why hand to hand? They might just have some kind of weapon that vaporizes everybody, like a neutron bomb.

But maybe they want nothing to do with earth some scientist claimed that earth would be toxic for them (the air and bacteria would kill them)just like in the book war of the worlds)

actually, i like to think of aliens like dragon ball z. they fly around, drop off a dude with a tail, wait for a full moon, then the planet gets destroyed, i cant wait till that happens to us!
come on basil. think about it. if an alien race has enough technology to create spaceships, dont you think they would have more powerful weapons than us?
thats the way I look at it too - were not capable of finding them so if they are capable of finding us.... they probably got some funky ass weapons!
