empire's pick ups thread
Rather than spam the small finds thread, I figured i'd make my own thread, seeing as i'm getting a lot of decent hits lately.
So today I had a job in a town about 2 hours away. After I finished I noticed there was a sign in front of a shop saying they buy and sell video games. Pulled into a parking lot and walked over. He had some good prices, so I grabbed Baseball Simulator for the SNES and 3 Gamecube manuals I needed for $1 a piece. Then I saw he had a display with a couple boxed N64 games. I saw this sitting there, knew it was somewhat valuable, but I passed at first. When I went to pay they didn't take debit, so I had to go next door to an atm. I texted my pal K3vbot on the way and he just said "buy it". Not a bad purchase I think.

Cart is really nice, a bit of sticker residue on the front but it'll come off easy, and theres hardly any on the label, also has a sticker on the back. Box has a crease where it was opened and a bit of a loose flap, otherwise it's really nice too.

So maybe when it comes around to when we're finding 7th gen games in the wild and such, they'll be clean, or just have a green sticker on them. Blockbuster and Rogers stickers will still be a pain in the ass.
