Bubble Bobble Part 2 score

My buddy saw a post on Craigslist late last night that had a picture of about 60 NES games. Smack in the middle of the picture was Bubble Bobble Part 2. Yowza!

I ended up jumping on it and for $380 got 65 games (Approx $6 per game) with about 40 uncommon titles including: Mega Man 6, Several M.T. Punchout copies, DK3, Zelda I and II in VG shape, Robocop 2, Street Cop....and of course the baby below. (And the rental label should be removable -- once I work up the nerve to perform surgery.)

If any of you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'll be selling NES games at the San Jose Super Toy Show this weekend 3/9-3/10: http://www.timetunneltoys.com/toyshow.html

Come say hi!

  • Hell of a find there!

I found my copy pretty much the same way, except it was 60 common games, a top loader, and BBp2 for 75$

  • Sweet score! Some good trade titles, a rare one for your collection...doesn't get much better than that.
  • Excellent snag right there!

Also got my copy off of CList, about two years back. Came in a lot of a system and 6 games for $40. At the time it was a $120 game and back then I thought that was crazy. Can't believe how much it has gone up since...
  • congratz for an awesome find man!
  • Thats a small price to pay Great find!
  • Stuff like this is awesome; what a snag, dude!
  • You done well there, man. Great job!
  • Very nice, welcome to the BB2 owners club. You shouldn't fear sticker removal seeing that it appears to only be on the plastic. Those BB stickers are the worst just how much they just won't give up the fight removing them though so be careful.
  • nice score!!
  • Ughhhhhhhhhh.. I am super jealous! Nice score there!!
  • Nice snag, man. That sticker should come off without too much of a problem. Just be careful with the Blockbuster stickers - if I remember correctly, they have little metal strips underneath part of them. Ever have one of those jam up under your fingernail?
  • Thanks all, and appreciate the sticker removal tips. I absolutely hate those security stickers that break apart when you try to remove them. Ugh. On some of my commons, I actually keep the rental stickers on them. Reminds me of the days gone by when independent video stores with names like "Videomania" and "Megavideo" were on every street corner.
  • Gloryhole
  • nice score. I have found one of these in wild as well. its a good feeling finding one of the top 10 nes pricy games in the wild.
  • I hate BlockBuster stickers. At least they usually don't overlap the cart label. I spent a good 30 minutes getting one off my Kid Klown I found for $3.
  • I spent even longer as that label there I don't think has a metal strip, but it is a thick sticker with some insane glue. They wrapped it over both ends of a SNES cart I had and after peeling it away from the surface of the sticker the rest took over a half hour at the least to get off and out of the stupid grill lines on the SNES cart molding too. They just don't come up well the like the boring long security strip in paper stickers or the silver sticker/peel away VOID style type where a little scraping and a bit of alcohol do the trick.
