Tech Supply Center on Amazon.com MASSIVE RESEALING OPERATION

Hi Everyone,

Looking for a bit of assistance at ending something that has gone on for far too long on amazon.com and ebay.com, and propagates like a cancer into the sealed collecting community.. This seller (Justin Hutson) currently has 2,000+ listings on amazon.com. (and ebay under JM-INK-MAX) He sells a majority of video games and from all evidence that I have seen and speculations made below, most if not all of them are reseals.. Everything from ps2, gamecube to wii and more..

EVIDENCE:

From my experience so far, there is not one pre-may 2005 ps2 game that I have asked him for security strip verification, that actually had the security strip. I have experienced it myself, seen numerous others feedback, claims by members here and on other forums, all of which agree with the fact that this guy is a scammer/re-sealer .. Yet he continues to sell. I bet you are asking: so what?? Remember the security strip is the one thing that scammers/resealers have no easy way to recreate! This is the true foolproof evidence to build a case against this guy..

OR THE OBVIOUS: Look at his ebay account, all his purchases are USED games!!!! All his sales are for NEW GAMES!! No math necessary there.. If your lucky you can find the game in its used form under his ebay buyer feedback and the resealed "new" version currently listed on amazon...

Why he gets away with it.. (has so many positive feedback):

If you have purchased a new game from this seller, despite your best eye as a sealed collector I can assure you, it is a reseal. I have seen several of his Y-fold seals, they look factory perfect. Should you doubt this consider the following: If he does it across dozens upon dozens of ps2 games that are security strip only black labels, what would possibly stop him from resealing games that did not have security strips and make you none the wiser? (aka all ps2 games post 2005, the entire ds and gamecube libraries, wii and more?) NO MORAL STANDARDS AND NO ONE IN HIS WAY.. The concept here is simple, there is more money to be made by resealing used games and selling them as new, then buying new games and selling them as new. He has stopped selling sealed games on ebay because the feedback is more insightful and has given him away too many times. He has shifted his aim away from collectors to just the average joe, through amazon.com (where all of his ebay purchases are currently ending up )

Market Corruption:

Lastly, I just want to say that by not acting, and continueing to collect sealed games, you are simply throwing your money out the window at this point. If he continues, his resealed games will propegate further into the community, into the hands of people that believe they are genuine seals, and then go to resell them later.. and so on and so on.. What you can do to help:

Just state that this guy is a known scammer (Tech Suppy Center): resealing games and selling them as new. Don't bother e-mailing the seller himself, he will simply deny it saying that he "sell the games he gets in". Site items that are known reseals (ANY PS2 GAME PRE 2005 is a good choice, BUT ANY DISC BASED VIDEO GAME WILL DO), Unfortunately PS2 games are just a part of what he reseals, it is much harder to prove against his other items as they are Y-fold seals only out of the factory.. But discrepancies can be found as is detailed on nintendo age. (gamecube example in the references section below)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

  • I guess, resealing used games (no matter mint or not) and sell them alot is just a method of cheating for every lowlife collector out there.
