Goodwill Find

Found this laying at the bottom of a case of cassette tapes. It's been ages since I found anything Nes here. Paid $2 for it.

  • Man, that's the only one I still need! lol. Good find
  • nice grab looks like it was hidden I look in all kinds of places for things in thrift stores
  • I always check the cassette tapes. Goodwill doesn't seem to know the difference
  • That's an awesome find. My local Goodwill is always picked over and usually only has crappy PS2 and Xbox sports games.
  • The only one I need!
  • epic find man, especially for $2.00 that is crazy. That is the only megaman game I am still missing in my nes collection.
  • That is a great find and a great game! I can't believe the great stuff people find at goodwill, I have found a grand total of 4 shitty commons at every goodwill I have ever been to.
  • Sweet ass find! I had a good stretch at Goodwill but it has since dried up.

Thats because our local Goodwills send the games directly to the online auction and are never supposed to hit the floor

Of course, they're Nintendo Tapes!   (People that grew up around Atari "tapes" will know what I'm getting at.)

  • I found several Famicom carts in the Casette and Tape sections at GW in the past.
  • Awesome find! I found MM1 at my goodwill and paid $2 for it... I never find any NES stuff there besides Mario/Duck Hunt [which is very seldom nowadays]...
  • I think someone regularly goes and buys everything at goodwills here or they sell it on ebay. they never have anything anymore.
  • It's all sold on Ebay + shopgoodwill.com ... I think going to the stores for games nowadays in general is likely a waste of time.
  • That's cause your from Fort Wayne, someone told me once that our local stores are supposed send all of the games up the chain to some Goodwill auction site.
  • Check shopgoodwill.com to see if your area/region participates in the program.
  • My local goodwill doesn't even carry games. The clerk told me they send them off to be sold through Amazon.
  • DAMN I need to go to my local Goodwill...
  • Just found one of these at a Goodwill as well. I almost feel bad about practically stealing these things when I see the prices.
