My buddy works there and texted me last night saying there was an Uncharted 3 collectors edition for $20. I didn't know what parts of it were there, but I would have paid $20 for just the steelbook probably. It was already closed, so I hopped in my car this morning bringing along my copy of UC3 to trade up for this one.



Got there 10 minutes early, waited for 'em to open. Got in, saw it was $17 for "pro members". It has everything included. Ring (necklace), belt buckle, steelbook, display box, statue WITH accessories. Just no outter box.

When I traded in my game the total came to $12!!! LOL. Since they don't give/charge more for collectors editions than the normal games, someone traded this in for $5. Wtf? Who paid $100 for this and just let it go like that for $5?!



I'm only missing the box this came in, but oh well. I'm not so worried about that. I was about to buy the ring necklace online a few months ago for more than double what I paid for the whole thing. I'm a very happy dude this morning

    I've been finding all kinds of awesome stuff at Gamestop recently. Every time I go into one I find one of those little PS2 to PS3 memory card adapters, they sell them for $1.19 but they sell on eBay for $25. Also found a GC broadband adapter not too long ago, I think it was $2.99 or something ridiculous. Weird how they price items sometimes. Nice find dude.

    Nice I had picked up one of these from best buy a while back for 30 bucks new and I was pretty pumped about that. Def can't pass it up for 12 though haha

    Thanks doods this is one of the few collectors editions I missed that I really kicked myself over.



    The only one I'd love that I missed now was persona 4 golden.

    Nice find man! Was that brand new? I know a long time ago when I use to trade games in there (now I just hoard them) they never took collector edition stuff back in.

    Nice, lucky for you that gamestop has common sense, but did go against store policy to do so... They are SUPPOSE to throw away all the extras and sell just the standard game. There are no used skus for big boxed collectors editions. Knowing this fact, I have scored about 3 premium edition tales of vesperia at standard edition prices (and flipped them at $120 a piece) Tales collectors edition is a steelbook edition of a regular dvd case, so it typically goes under the radar.. Even worse they are suppose to also throw away boxes for ALL GAMEBOY GAMES!!! Why are gameboy boxes so rare?? Because of GAYSTOP stupid practices..

    I tried this once. All 3 of my local gamestops have locks on them and signs saying no trespassing.

    Definitely a great deal. I don't buy a lot of special editions but the packaging alone for this game won me over.

    I will never buy another ds game from gamestop. at least used. they trash the cases and I dont want cart only games.
