Game Hunting Finds
I was suppose be going to Indianapolis today but my friend wreck his car so trip
has
been cancel. So I went game hunting in my local area. I head up to Book and Music on Bardstown and I usually see great games there but there wasn't much of a selection today. But I did see Caslevania: Bloodlines Sealed I think for 80$. Now this game has been at this store for quit awhile but I drove all this way and I wanted to by something. It was either this or 14 VOL of Love Hina manga for 40$. I said fuck it and bought Castlevania. I don't know if I over paid or not but I couldn't find anything on ebay that had a cardboard case.
So after that there was game store I never been at call Game Force on Bardstown. I been to the one on Preston HWY and found some awesome
deals
but this one. All can say what a waste of time. It didn't have anything good. Waste my time driving my Scooter in the cold for nothing. I don't think I'm going back there.
So my last stop I went to Toy Crazy. Love the store and I love the owner. His price maybe bit high but he always has something your never going to find. However the owner was sick today and he had 2 of his famliy member watching the store today. I saw a box Odyssey 2 CIB for 45$. I bought right away. However the problem was how am I going to drive this thing home. Well I found a way but before I left the guy who check me out told me. I put this duck tape on the box to keep it close. In my mind I said WTF would you do that. Well I was able to get the tape off with out damaging the box.
So today was good but I don't know if I did well or not but can someone look at my Castlevania box to see if it factory sealed or not.

You should have asked for that duct tape roll from him then duct tape his face between his legs so he can smell his own shit all day
You are right the Toy Crazy old guy is cool. I've done business with him once in the shop, mostly at the flea market spot he has and he even remembered me from when I used to go down there on occasion before leaving town for 3 years. If you're a return type he'll give a little bit of a better deal which is nice. About a month ago I got for $25 both Bucky O Hare and Trojan from him which was awesome. At his shop the time I went in the game selection then wasn't great, but got this new in box Indiana Jones large vinyl figure that's exclusive to the original Disneyland park when that ride first opened. Sad story, it got wrecked in my move back here, but then I found another almost NEW for $10 at that flea down there indoors the same day I got Bucky (far nicer shape than the original too as that box was sun faded.)

Reading that story I know the route you were taking and I've seen that Castlevania at that shop since I got back here and laughed off the price too but like you I have no idea if that was fair or not, but I don't even have a Genesis. I'm not sure if I should be surprised or not about Game Force on bardstown rd, it was a turd 5 years ago for me and I'd pop in ever so often if I was down that way and every time it was always crap and the prices weren't great (and this was before this recent boom.) I guess they're consistent at sucking at least. All in all I think you did well for what you got and that's cool. I hope you're going to that Louisville Arcade Expo this weekend. My plans got changed on me so I'm looking at Sunday now and hopefully it's fun and maybe I can find some goodies.

Yeah I been to the flea market couple of times. But I don't have a car I can't really go there very much, but I will be going to the Arcad Expo. I be going Friday and Saturday. I don't know about Sunday. I heard it going to rain and I don't want drive in the rain.
