WTF is Up with eBay?

Why are all the prices so damn low?  This of course, is great for all the collectors out there, but guys like me are getting killed now.  Is it the economy, the season?  What the hell is going on?

    Lots of sellers, fewer buyers willing to bid things up.



    This is a good example of why it's good to be flush with cash when everyone else is trying to sell.

    That is true, I have been getting great deals on stuff for the last month or so.

    I'd say economy, entertainment everywhere is struggling, which apparently includes 20 year old video games. I know personally I've been more focused on playing and less on buying lately. I'm guessing it will pick up for the holidays, but now is a good time to pick up some rare stuff.

    A combination of many factors, I'm not surprised they are down some with kids going back to school and the down before the holiday season. Retro games have been often have been selling at semi inflated prices for so long that a market can't sustain that forever. It's a great time to stock up for Christmas sales
