Entity's epic find of 2013
Behold!

Yes indeed, that is a dust cap in awesome condition and it only cost me $2! Fuck yeah!
I was going to leave the price tag on but it's a unique tag and I'm too paranoid to give hints on some of the more bizarre places I hunt. The SNES Squaresoft RPG, the first I've seen in the wild in two years of hunting, is a nice bonus.
The question is, was it worth the time and effort? I use to go to flea markets Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but after multiple strike outs I started going less, and finding less, and going less, and so on. Cruel cycle. I still average about 2 flea markets a week or spend at least one day going to garage sales, and go to thrift stores 3 to 4 times a week hitting about 5 to 10 stores in a day.
I spend at least 5 hours at a flea market or garage sale hunting, and hitting up 5 thrift stores takes at least an hour. There has been ~10 weeks in the year so far so using the minumum amount of time I spent each week:
5 hours a week for at least one flea market or garage sale hunting
+
3 hours hitting up 5 thrift stores 3 days of the week
x
10 weeks
= 80 hours spent hunting this year minimum
Of course I get the drug like rush from hunting and get some excercise and occasionally see cool overpriced game things so those take some of the edge off as well. For example, I saw a sealed NES for only $3,000. Pretty cool.
Anyways, anyone else having a small return on the time they've invested in the hunt?

Sorry for blurry pictures:
Or are really that excited about a $2 cap?
Cause if you are, I have about 10 I could part with for say $20 shipped
I'm confused, are you intentionally being sarcastic?

I was thinking the same

Damn, I think you might be right. Can any dust cap experts take a look and tell if this dust cap is legit or not?

Nice find, man.
But I think that dust cap is a majesco version, assembled in Mexico. You can tell because it is in black & white.
