Here is one of the projects I worked on this summer, check it out. It turned out pretty well and I'm very happy with the results. One is a bottle of pear Vodka and the other is pear Brandy.

  • how did you get it in? image or is it an optical illusion?
  • I have seen bottles like that in the store before. Do you really have to put the bottle on the tree and have the pear grow inside it? Or is there some kind of trick?

They look great by the way.
  • That's pretty neat!
  • No tricks here, had to grow these bad boys in there. Takes a long time and you gotta be careful about the bottle filling up with water on you.
  • I have never seen anything like that before. that is very awesome!
  • Damn herbalist...that's sweet!!! (probably literally!)
  • That is really neat, so when they put ships in a bottle, do they grow little trees in there, then some little elfs go in and build the ship inside?
  • That's how I did it Quack. It only took about 2 weeks to grow a schooner though
  • That's pretty cool, never heard of that before.

Don't you mean a sailboat? image
  • That's pretty sweet. I know a few people that brew their own beer, but this is taking it to the next level.

  • That's is neat as hell.. Nice work Herbalist!
  • Thanks for the responses! My uncle gave me the inspiration, he has a bottle of pear brandy from like 20 years ago and the pear is still in nice shape. The alcohol preserves it, and in turn the pear helps flavor the booze. I dont really drink but I thought it was very cool and the house i moved in to had a pear tree. I would really love an orange and an apple in a bottle too. So if anyone has an apple or orange tree, hook a brotha up next summer!
