About to finally hit 200 PS1 games

Inspired by a lot of the other posts in this forum, I'm excited to say that I'm almost at the 200 mark with a current total of 199 PS1 games.



I'm pretty happy with the collection because I've managed to pick up most of the costly games aside from a few stragglers (still hoping to find cheap copies of Team Buddies, Klonoa, Tactics Ogre, and Einhander sooner or later). I mainly focus on Japanese stuff, so now most of my efforts are being focused on some of the more obscure, less costly titles.



I've got a few games that should be coming in the mail soon, so I'm excited to see what number 200 is!

    Thanks so much you guys! Glad to be a part of a community that values collecting more than just the big games on the system. My actual #200 ended up being a copy of Mr. Driller that I picked up at Half Price Books today and then I got home to find Easter Bunny's Big Day in the mail. Just a day late!

    I got super lucky on a misspelled auction back in 07 that had all the PSX Mega Man games for super cheap, or else I wouldn't have it as I've never run into a copy since. Seriously though, we've got a looooong way, haha.

    What are the big ones that you're still missing and dying to get? I keep hoping that I'll run into cheapo copies, but I'm guessing I'll eventually have to shell out the cash for stuff like Team Buddies and some of the older stuff like Braindead 13 and Herc's Adventures.

    I think I spot Final Fantasy VII, VIII & IX there, so I can happily regard that as a solid collection



    But well done, to be honest I don't think I could see myself with over 100 PS1 titles, I'm very tight on what I keep in my collection and If I don't see a game worth playing I will sell it.

    I still miss most of the RPG's I don't have SuikodenII, Tron Bonne, Tomba 2. But I managed to nailed some for pretty cheap I got my original Tomba! for 30$ and Herc's Adventures for 10$ when no one knew it was rare (I didnt knew it either!). I know I must get my hands on the rarer games now before the nostalgia factor gets to PS1 the way it got to the NES/SNES

    I'm curious if you actually play your games. I only have 44 PSone games and it will take years to play them. I also play NES and SNES, so my 44 games will probably last me until my death. Although, I suppose in a collection of 200 games, the majority are not worth much play time.
