I'm seriously thinking about making all the default avatars into something ridiculous to encourage users to upload their own file. I can't stand the ones that came with this forums package. Might make for a good practical joke image

    I don't mind the default avatars, but I don't like it when multiple people have the same avatar. Many times I just look at the avatar to figure out who's posting, and it sometimes leads me to believe that somebody is posting something, when really it's somebody completely different.

    PS: Can't you add and remove avatar pictures to suit your needs?

    I figured I'd post a how-to in case some folks were having problems:



    - Go to the top of the page and click "Edit Profile"

    - Under the "Profile" tab, near the bottom of the page there's an option, "Upload your author icon".

    - Click "Browse...", find your image, then click "Update Profile"

    I tried several times to upload my own avatar. Always got an error message saying that i didn't upload a proper jpeg / gif file. I tried renaming it to .jpeg, converting it to gif, everything and nothing worked. Neither in Firefox nor IE. image

    Edit: Lol. Now I tried again and it worked on the first try. ^^

    Dang dude...I thought that Power Puff Girls thing was a joke someone used as their avatar...but ya did it to everyone?  I mean come on.....however, I do have to admit that my new icon which I took part from a Mr. Gimmick image and part of me drawing an ant that he's about to stomp on is pretty tight.  Don't erase it though man.

    I didn't erase anyone's real avatars -- I merely removed the ones that came with this software and set anyone who was using one of those to the default (which is now a powerpuff girl image

    You could at least give them the option between the different power puff girls. lol Wizard being the big gay homo that he is will probably want to keep the power puff avatar cause it matches he eye liner and lipstick image

    Actually he'd be Buttercup...she's the biggest fighter of all three and after all he is the world's strongest man.  Then again I just probably outed myself by saying that.  LOL

    Your gayness isn't quite as sharp as Dain's as it appears, it is indeed Blossom. Buttercup is the black haired one. (as I pull out one of my Powerpuff girl DVDs).

    I've tried many times to switch my avatar, but it never seems to take. Any help? Like where to get good ones this site will accept or what type I'm looking for. Please be easy on the computer mumbo jumbo, I'm still rather new to the computer world.
