Photobucket has been a MASSIVE BUTTWAD lately and done such a ridiculous overhaul to their site that I can barely use it anymore without becoming irate and confused.
WITH THAT SAID...take note of this;
One of the things they did was add completely needless "director's cut; extended release" URL tags AROUND the IMG tags when they give you the "here is your forum copy link!!"
So now, every fudgin' time I paste a picture here from Dickbucket, I manually follow up with backspace/delete frenzy to clean it back up into straight up hardcore IMG tags.
So basically your links are now infected with digital diarrhea and pulled that lame "new and improved" thing that's all the rage with pretty much every site on the face of the earth including here in the past few months.
It's like the entire internet decided people were getting too comfortable or something, and took it upon itself to re-confuse everyone.
Back when I was a prepress Adobe Cymbal Monkey and was a few weeks away from both my own office and a nervous breakdown, I learned the value of paying attention to "sloppy code" and giving things "digital bitchslaps" to make it work again.
You may have to bitchslap all your images to make them work as well as before.
I haven't been to the flea market for a while. Last time I went I got a good deal on a PS2 slim with Intec mounted tv, controller, memory card, ac adaptor, and av cables for $40 which I thought was a really good deal. Today I decided to stop by because I didn't have anything else I wanted to accomplish. Here is what I picked up for $25. Norse by Norsewest has apparently doubled or tripled in price since last fall as far as ebay and amazon go so I think this CIB (minus the foam) is the real steal here. TMNT was $15 while Norse by Norsewest was $10.

well i brought 2 big black rubbish bags of stuff off a guy for $101 he even dropped it off to my house that was like like 20 to 30 mins away everything came out to 3.20each
some of the other stuff was some sega megadrive and master system games and sega satan games all cib gba like new and a gba sp both came with one game. pal snes and ntsc snes both with there cables look like new. gameboy pocket like new. gbc lime green great shape. and some nes games cib and a ps1 with driver and gta and point blank cib and some other stuff
I think I got lucky on this lot, $60 shipped. All games were complete and most of them in great shape. I just wanted the system box, one I still needed. I was surprised by how thin this box was, happy it was in good shape overall with the inserts and cardboard all intact.
^ Oh man, killer deal. I love finding a lot with minty games. Minty systems you can always get if you wait for and shell out enough money. But getting games that have probably only passed through the hands of 1 or 2 owners is rare. It makes all the difference with extra posters, inserts, adverts, etc. Great job! I'm sure some of those will be replacing the copies already in your collection
I got this from eBay along with 17 (great) games in great condition, a console and other accessories for $130, the games alone are worth more than that so the Tank was basically free!
The most exciting thing about it was getting myself this beast, on the auction it was hidden in the photos and described as a 'rare' joystick. Also the auction said pick up only but at the bottom of the desription it said he will ship so I think that's why not many people bid on it and I won it at such a great price! The Tank works perfectly, I now know why Flatuswalrus (Dane) thinks it's the best joystick EVER!!!!
Umm, I hate to say this but you posted this in the wrong thread. This thread is for small scores and this is an EPIC score! I never though anyone else would actually find one of these bastards but you of all people did it, awesome! How very exciting, in it's simplicity it shines through with it's quality build and sexy plain-Jane and girl-next-door looks. Have you given it a good go yet? After using it a few times I rarely went back to a controller despite having decades more experience with one. I guess it was good practice for me now I am using a joystick with everything on my MAME cab.

You are right, it is so epic! Such a coincidence that I got it! I couldn't believe it when I stumbled across it on eBay, the main photo was of the console and a few games, I almost didn't even click on it as it said pick up only in NSW and then as I clicked through the photo's BAM!!! There it was, couldn't let it get away from me!

I was playing a bit of Street Fighter on it this arvo and it is perfect, I can't see myself going back to a controller either, it is just so good!

Shame I didn't still have mine or you could have brought yours over for some two player Tank action. It would have been cool to see two together just like when a zoo gets two endangered animals together in hopes they will breed. Instead of breeding though, we would just play street fighter.

Hahaha! That would have been a rare sight indeed. I can't imagine how a Mega Drive would be able to handle two tanks at once, extreme double penetration!
Went to a store today looking for a jimy buffet margaritaville mixer. Walked out with a cart and a half full of stuff. As for gaming, i got dj hero, 2 copies of guitar hero 5 with guitar included, and 3 extra wireless guitars for the total price of $30. All are brand new and for the ps2, but have relatively beat up cardboard boxes. they had a tony hawk game with board controller for the wii, ps3, or xbox 360 as well for $5 a piece. I don't own one of these systems, but if i did i would have grabbed one.
I have had these for a little while now but only have just opened them up, they are official Sega cleaning kits that have never been used, I like the Sega logo on the actual cleaning fluid, I think it looks pretty cool! They came with a huge lot I found a while back from a garage sale. Has anyone else seen these before, I've searched online but can't find anything at all. Anyway, I think it's a pretty interesting find

Yea I will definitely be preserving them! I searched all last night on the internet and couldn't find anything. I'm assuming they were an Australian thing as the lady I got them off said they were from Big W but who knows!

It is a relatively easy enough game with the controls. I could never land jumps properly though, I guess I need the manual for that.

I guess it was good practice for me now I am using a joystick with everything on my MAME cab.
